爱酱视频 Student Martina Sanchez Wins November Student of the Month Award

Despite the challenges presented to arts education during distanced and hybrid learning with limited resources, 爱酱视频 students are prevailing, creating art worthy of recognition. 爱酱视频 Theater Arts student Martina Sanchez was one of nine students honored in November by the the Arts Council 爱酱视频 Education Alliance (ACNVEA). The Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) Student of the Month awards are presented for excellence in the disciplines of music, theater, and visual & digital arts.

Miguel Luna Named Viticulturist of the Year

Miguel Luna, partner, Silverado Farming Company, was named Viticulturist of the Year in Wine Enthusiast鈥檚 2020 Wine Star Awards. Luna took classes at 爱酱视频 in 2000-2004 and then again from 2007-2012, graduating with an AS Degree in Natural Science and Math in 2012.

Huzaifa Kamran Khawaja

Twenty-two-year-old Huzaifa Kamran Khawaja has been in the United States for less than three years but has made quite a mark in a short time. In 2017, his father, a retired Pakistani Air Force logistics officer and his mother, a homemaker, immigrated with the family from Pakistan, when Huzaifa was in the midst of completing his A-levels, roughly equivalent to a college-prep high school in the United States.

爱酱视频 has launched the 鈥淒r. Ed Shenk Excellence in Student Service Award,鈥� announced Oscar De Haro, assistant superintendent/vice president, student affairs. De Haro鈥檚 executive assistant, Martha Navarro, is the inaugural recipient of the award, created to recognize and honor student service staff members who have contributed to the success of 爱酱视频 students through activities that promote student learning, retention and growth.
